I get why people are against SOPA/PIPA, and that people are angry about the Megaupload indictment. But here's the thing.

The DDoS and hacking attacks are RUINING MY LIFE.

My ISP's servers are being attacked/overwhelmed by people who are being attacked or duped into helping with the DDoS.

I haven't been able to consistently get e-mail for over a week. I missed important e-mails from my school's Financial Aid office - luckily they also sent me a letter, or I would have missed out on several thousand dollars worth of assistance this semester.

I have been selling some things on Craigslist to supplement my NFP income for a house downpayment, and my mother works from home. Both of these things are greatly impacted.

I'm pulling my hair out, and I feel like crying. Because there's nothing that's going to make this better right now, until people finally stop. And that's not going to happen with all of the people who are finding new and sneakier ways to attack the internet.

Fuck.

Someone hacked my gmail account last night, if you received any e-mail from me DON'T OPEN IT! I've regained control for now, but just wanted to let everyone know. Super fun, right? First Facebook and now my e-mail.
